Product Overview
The Sailtel IES1210D-8T2F-P8 is an industrial unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet PoE switch with 8 × 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 PoE ports and 2 × 1000Mbps SFP uplink slots. Designed for industrial automation, IP surveillance and transportation networks, the unit combines a fanless IP40 aluminum housing, DIN-rail mounting, redundant DC inputs and operation over -40°C to +75°C.
It supports IEEE 802.3af/at on the RJ45 PoE ports, with Port 1 supporting up to 60W HiPoE. The specified total PoE budget is 200W at 60°C, derating to 120W at 75°C. PoE operation requires a 48–55V DC input.

Operating Modes & Applications
Standard Mode: Gigabit wired networking for industrial Ethernet, network aggregation and surveillance installations. Fast Ring: ring mode with a specified recovery time under 2 seconds. Extend Mode: Ports 7 and 8 switch to 10Mbps for up to 250m transmission with automatic PoE watchdog.

Connection & Selection Guide
Power input: A DC 12–55V input can power the switching electronics, but DC 48–55V is required for PoE output. Provide a power source capable of the intended aggregate PoE load; output capacity is temperature-dependent.
SFP uplinks: The two uplink slots are specified for 1Gbps SFP modules. Confirm transceiver type, fiber distance and host compatibility. No SFP module is listed in the standard package contents.
60W port: The datasheet calls the 60W output on Port 1 HiPoE; it does not identify this as IEEE 802.3bt. Confirm the powered device’s supported PoE mode before purchase.

Up to 10km on suitable single-mode fiber, subject to the link budget and connector loss.
Which optical wavelength and connector does it use?
A nominal 1310nm optical wavelength and duplex LC interface.
Is the module compatible with multimode fiber?
This model is specified for single-mode fiber. Select an appropriate multimode transceiver if your installation uses MMF.
What speed does it support?
It is designed for 10GBASE-LR applications at a 10.3125Gbps line rate, not for 1G SFP operation.
Does it support DDM / DOM?
Yes. Digital diagnostic monitoring is supported when the host equipment exposes these readings.
Can I insert it while equipment is powered on?
